Sustainable development is a multidimensional concept that aims to balance the current and future needs of humanity by integrating economic environmental and social dimensions.

In an age where the effects of globalization are becoming increasingly evident sustainability has become the cornerstone of cooperation in international relations economics and tourism. In this context tourism relations between Turkey and the North African countries bordering the Mediterranean hold significant importance. These relations contribute not only to regional development but also to achieving global goals within the framework of sustainable development.

This study draws upon the reference "Significance of Tourism Industry in Regional Development and Recommendations for MENA Region" conference paper. It evaluates Turkey's historical ties with Africa alongside the recent momentum gained in economic commercial and cultural cooperation from a sustainability perspective.
